Creative Director

A thinker and doer, analytical and artistic, with half of my life in Europe and the rest in the US, I offer a unique, multicultural perspective on ideas and marketing.

With 20 years of solving marketing problems for Fortune 500 multinational brands and small local businesses alike, I’m bringing a proven knowledge of creative strategy, vision, communication and management, both on the client and agency side.

My clients are a blend of automotive, consumer, retail, software, technology, finance, and many others.

Grew annual revenue from by 400%  in three years by creating a new website and then using Google AdWords and

Unique visitors grew from 200 to 7000 per day.
Conversion ratio grew from 0.2% to 1.3%.

Allstate
Developed the creative strategy for Allstate’s internet presence, including consumer
homepage, Customer Service Center build-out, UI and content reorganization.
Managed a team of Art Directors, User Interface Strategists, Designers, and Copywriters.

American Express
Redesigned the Merchant Services’ website and reorganized the content to improve
customer experience.
Created a new strategic direction and upgraded functionality for the Traveler Checks/Gift
Checks website. Oversaw a team of UI, Art Directors, Designers and Copywriters.

NETMARKET GROUP INC., STAMFORD, CT 1999 – 2000

Provided strategic creative direction and launched the following brands: Netmarket.com,
Hagglezone.com, Travelersadvantage.com, Privacyguard.com, and Autovantage.com.

Created programs for online promotions, member acquisition and retention.
Built and managed a creative team of 16 consisting of Creative Directors, Art Directors,
Designers, Developers, and Producers.
Managed strategic planning, branding, site building, on-line promotion, print design and copy

Lead Creative responsible for building a creative team to support American Express.
Established new design standards for AmericanExpress.com.
Developed programs and promotions for American Express business units, including:
Establishment Services, Personal Card, Membership Banking, Membership Rewards.

Created interactive marketing campaigns and built websites for information delivery.
Worked with Account Team, Designers, Copy Writers, Developers, and Content Creators.
Time Warner, Quality Paperback Book Club – Designed concepts, built website, and created
banner campaigns for the Quality Paperback Book Club.
Mobil – Redesigned and restructured an award-winning site.
IBM/Shop IBM – Designed their first e-commerce website.
